Many of you know my journey, but you might not know where the spirit of The Next Caravan truly began. Years ago, Maggie and I were working together in a tiny wooden shack perched right over the Mekong River in Cambodia. We had nothing but the heat, the river, and a shared obsession for raw, authentic adventure. Those days forged a bond that only miles of travel can create.

After exploring almost every corner of the map, Maggie felt the West Coast calling her home. She returned to California with a mission: to take everything we learned in the remote corners of the world and apply it to her own backyard. She doesn’t just know California; she feels it in her bones.

Today, I am so proud to introduce her as our local soul on the ground. More than a vehicule, Maggie is the intimite person from which we design and host flexible, deeply personal journeys across California. She’s loud laughs on the road, secret trailheads discovered in childhood, and that rare feeling of being exactly where you’re supposed to be.
