Terms & Conditions & Cancellation Policy

Welcome to The Next Caravan. By booking a bespoke journey or engaging our curation services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Booking & Non-Refundable Deposit

Retainer / Deposit: To secure your dates, initiate custom trip planning, and reserve private vendors (including boutique accommodations, private guides, and venue permits), a specified initial deposit is required at the time of booking.

Non-Refundable Policy: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, all deposits and retainer fees are non-refundable, as they cover initial curation, administrative costs, and non-recoverable partner commitments.

Credit Toward Total Cost: Where applicable, your deposit is credited 100% toward the total cost of your journey.

2. Payment Terms & Balance

The remaining balance for your journey must be paid in full by the due date specified in your invoice or booking agreement prior to departure.

Failure to settle the balance by the designated due date may result in the cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of the initial deposit.

3. Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be sent in writing via email to The Next Caravan.

Cancellations Made More Than 72 Hours Prior to Departure:

The initial deposit remains strictly non-refundable.

Any additional payments made toward the balance may be eligible for a partial refund, minus any non-recoverable third-party costs (such as non-transferable tickets, permits, or hotel cancellation fees).

Cancellations Made Within 72 Hours of Departure (or No-Shows):

Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time or departure date are 100% non-refundable.

Under these circumstances, no refunds or credits will be issued for any portion of the journey.

4. Rescheduling & Special Circumstances

Modifications: If you need to modify or reschedule your dates, requests must be submitted at least 72 hours in advance. We will make every effort to accommodate changes, subject to supplier availability and any applicable price adjustments or modification fees.

Exceptional Events (Force Majeure): In cases of documentable medical emergencies, extreme weather events, or official travel bans, The Next Caravan reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to issue a Travel Credit valid for 12 months toward a future journey (less third-party non-refundable expenses) in lieu of a monetary refund.

5. Unused Services

No refunds or credits will be provided for any unused portions of the journey, including missed activities, early departures, voluntary schedule changes, or unused accommodation nights once the trip has commenced.

6. Travel Insurance

Due to the bespoke nature of our travel experiences, The Next Caravan strongly advises all clients to purchase comprehensive travel, health, and cancellation insurance at the time of booking to protect against unexpected disruptions or emergencies.
