Day 1-2: Seville
Arrival in a city built in layers — the Giralda’s Almohad minaret rising above a Gothic cathedral, the Real Alcázar’s Mudéjar courtyards still in royal use. Evening flamenco in a family-run tablao in Triana, the neighborhood where the art form was born.
Day 3-4: Córdoba
The Mezquita — a forest of striped arches where a cathedral was built inside a mosque, itself built where a church once stood. A private walk through the Jewish Quarter with a historian tracing the city’s role as a center of medieval scholarship, where Muslims, Jews, and Christians once studied side by side.
Day 5-6: Granada & the Alhambra
Timed entry to the Alhambra at first light, before the crowds — the Nasrid Palaces’ carved plasterwork, the Generalife gardens. An evening in the Albaicín, tea houses and Sacromonte cave flamenco, the Sierra Nevada silhouette behind the last Muslim kingdom of Iberia.
Day 7-8: Ronda & the White Villages
A dramatic finish — Ronda’s gorge-spanning bridge, one of Spain’s oldest bullrings, and the pueblos blancos scattered across the hills. A final lunch with a local olive oil producer before departure.
Bonus: A private evening with a Sephardic historian in Córdoba’s Jewish Quarter — the story of convivencia, told where it happened.
